Terms & conditions

The terms that apply when you use our website or book work with us.

Last updated: 8 October 2026
Template wording for the concept. Items in [brackets] need completing, and the final text should be reviewed by the business before launch.

01About these terms

These terms apply to services provided by Telford Autolocksmith Key Masters (a trading name of Laszlo Levente Rozgonyi, a sole trader based in Telford, Shropshire). By booking work with us you agree to them.

02Quotes and pricing

Quotes are based on the information you give us about your vehicle and the problem. We will confirm the price with you before any work starts.

If we find the job is different from what was described, we will explain why and agree any change in price with you before continuing.

03Proof of ownership

Before opening a vehicle or supplying a key we must see proof that you own the vehicle or are authorised to use it, such as a V5C logbook together with photo ID. We may refuse to carry out work if we cannot confirm this, and we may report suspicious requests to the police.

04Call-outs and cancellations

Any call-out charge is included in the price we quote before setting off. You can cancel free of charge before we set off. If you cancel after we have set off, we may charge a reasonable call-out fee to cover travel, which we will tell you when you book.

05Carrying out the work

We use non-destructive methods wherever possible. On some vehicles, a lock or component may already be worn or faulty; if we believe there is a risk of damage we will tell you before proceeding.

06Payment

We accept payment by card or bank transfer. Payment is due on completion of the work, once you have checked that everything works.

07Guarantee

Keys and remotes we supply and our workmanship are guaranteed for 12 months from the date of the job. The guarantee covers faults in parts or programming. It does not cover loss, accidental damage, water damage, misuse or normal battery wear.

08Your statutory rights

Nothing in these terms affects your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. We will carry out our services with reasonable care and skill.

09Our liability

We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot legally be limited. Otherwise, our total liability for any job is limited to the price paid for that job, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

10Using this website

We try to keep the information on this website accurate but it is for general guidance only. Prices and services shown may change.

11Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
